The Last Resort

Delphine Lougheed’s retired from the spy game, but her life’s busier than ever. Still, she’s finally made good on her promise to find her newly divorced granddaughter, Griffin Beckett, a job. The work’s mundane, but the location—a swanky Hawaiian resort owned by the ultra-famous film director Fausto Conte—is pure luxury.

And even better—now Delphine has the perfect excuse to take the relaxing tropical vacation she’s been dreaming of. And of course, her best friend and fellow ex-spy Kenji Yamamoto and his new flame—who happens to be Griffin’s other grandma, Marge Flanders—are along for the ride.

So, they’ll have to find the thief before the information on the laptop falls into the wrong hands.

Unfortunately, this means Kenji must come clean to Marge about his secret past, putting her smack-dab in the middle of danger. And Delphine’s not sure how much to reveal to Griffin—or what to think about the mysterious stranger who wants to take her on a date. Both retired spies just want to enjoy what’s left of their vacation. But once you’ve seen everything Delphine and Kenji have, can you ever really call it quits?

The Last Resort is the fourth title in the Old School Mystery series but can be read as a stand-alone book.
